ADMISSIONS

IMPORTANT NOTICE: FFLA is currently in the process of seeking approval to operate as a Charter School. Applications for enrollment at the new charter school for the 2024/25 academic year will open in January. We are proceeding with the assumption that we will be approved, and the fees listed below reflect this anticipation. Should approval not be granted, applicants will receive updates via email regarding adjusted school fees. They will then have a two-week window to confirm their enrollment intentions or opt for withdrawal, receiving a full refund of any deposited fees up to that point. We anticipate a decision from Alberta Education by late April 2024.

All students, whether returning or new, must complete an enrollment application. Enrollment decisions are made administration, considering several factors: adherence to school policies (especially conduct-related ones), alignment with FFLA's Vision, Mission, Teaching Philosophy, and program policies, priority given to returning students, their siblings and staff children, and the assessment of whether the FFLA program will best support the student's success. Applications will initially be open until January 30th. After this date, eligibility and the priority level of applications up to Jan 30th will be determined and then acceptance will be based on a lottery system. If applicable, all remaining applications will be waitlisted and a new application period will open and the same process will be followed.

Your understanding is appreciated as acceptance, denial and waitlist letters will be issued gradually during the application processing periods. The majority of letters will be sent between January and March. Please contact administration should you have any further questions.

Thank you for your interest in FFLA. We eagerly anticipate reviewing your application.
